Hello I'm Lucy! I took up birdwatching as a kid and developed a very big obsession with nature and wildlife. In later years I became an environmental journalist communicating the nature and climate crisis (and potential solutions and activism) to a wide and mainstream audience. I write for The Times, The Guardian, Grazia and Service95 (Dua Lipa's brilliant newsletter). I'm also a broadcaster mainly on prime time BBC1 show The One Show and I work with the incredible Ellie Goulding on nature and climate activism with UNEP. Basically if you give me the chance to communicate on climate and nature, I will take it. I think it is the biggest story for humanity ever and that's why I write books that always have a connection to the biosphere. This time I've gone straight to our relationship with the planet!
