Laurie Leitch, PhD, is a psychotherapist, clinical trainer, and researcher. She is the co-founder and director of Threshold GlobalWorks, an organization dedicated to cultivating resilience within individuals, communities, enterprises, and systems.

Laurie is dedicated to sharing a model for building resilience that can be used by anyone, regardless of their demographics or history. The Social Resilience Model—a.k.a. the Brain Gain Program—has been successfully used to improve the resilience and self-regulation of people worldwide, including in countries suffering natural and human-caused disasters, war trauma, and ethnic strife, as well as people in communities suffering the multigenerational impact of systemic racism and structural inequality.
