My Awesome Family

With a passion for crafting psychological thrillers that are edgy and unpredictable, Kimberly Shursen has authored ten books, eight of which are gripping psychological thrillers. Among these, Lottery stands out as a three-book series that follows Caleb O'Toole, a man who wins the mega-lottery only to begin hearing a voice that will alter the course of his life. The series delves into a chilling, genetically passed disease and the dark forces surrounding it.

In addition to her thrillers, Kimberly wrote Peace in the Valley, a heartwarming Christmas story about Scott Dempsey, a man whose world falls apart when his wife leaves him for someone she met online. Devastated and without hope, Scott’s chance encounter with a three-year-old orphan named Charlie will change his life in ways he never imagined.

My Awesome Family is another of Shursen's works, telling the story of Lukas, a young boy living with his uncle and grandmother after his parents can no longer care for him. Through his journey, Lukas learns that the true meaning of family goes far beyond bloodlines.

Shursen holds a BA in Education and has written two musical plays that were produced by independent investors. A Midwesterner at heart, Kimberly lives with Lukas, the grandson she adopted, and her son, who Lukas lovingly calls Dad.
