Kimberly Shumate has spent more than 25 years in Christian book publishing as an author, editor, agent, and ghostwriter. Her work appears in books by Guideposts, Christians Arts Group, Kensington, Focus on the Family, Worthy Media, Multnomah, David C Cook, and Tyndale. She has also written content for worldwide ministries and nonprofits.

Kimberly spent several years on staff at George Fox University as an expert advisory. In her spare time, she enjoys screenwriting, with scripts that have placed in contests such as Nashville Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, BlueCat, and the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship. Kimberly currently resides in Oregon, and loves meeting with a close-knit writer's group, trips to the coast with friends, and taking in the arts so prevalent in her colorful community.
