Kim Walker-Smith, one of the founding members of the Jesus Culture Movement, is one of the most influential female voices in Christian music. Fans around the world have come to love her passionate and uninhibited worship captured on live recordings. Kim's latest full-length album, On My Side, is her first solo studio project, exploring themes of heartbreak and triumph and giving the listener a glimpse into the past few years in her journey with God. Although a departure from her live recordings, Kim's unforgettable, soulful voice continues to capture exhilarating moments of worship through both nuance and strength as she weaves together this beautiful collection of songs. Brave Surrender is Kim’s first book, released April 2019. It is her story and testimony of the redemption, freedom, and love Jesus has worked through her life. Today Kim lives just outside Sacramento, California with her husband Skyler, their 2 boys, Wyatt and Bear, and their daughter, Maisie. Kim is passionate about raising up other worship leaders, encouraging women to pursue their dreams, and she feels honored to travel the world and lead others in encountering Jesus. When she isn’t traveling, singing, or speaking, Kim is busy on her farm with her family and homeschooling her kids. She enjoys being outside, watching a good movie in comfy clothes, and eating chocolate.
