Kianna Lane didn't set out to write a leadership book. She set out to raise two boys.

Over the course of over a decade in financial services — rising from a call center representative to Vice President in Mortgage Servicing — she kept noticing something. The conversations she was having at work sounded a lot like the conversations she was having at home. The lessons her boys needed to learn about accountability, resilience, character, and showing up were the same lessons her teams needed. The kitchen table and the conference room were teaching the same things.

That realization became Raised Right.

Kianna holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, a Master of Business Administration, and the Residential Certified Mortgage Servicer designation. She is currently a candidate for the Accredited Mortgage Professional designation and a student in the School of Mortgage Banking program. Her professional work has spanned operational leadership, team development, and process transformation across some of the nation's leading mortgage servicers.

But her most important work happens at home.

She is a mother first. Of two boys who challenge her, surprise her, and teach her something new about leadership every single day. Her whole life has been propelled by relationships — people who believed in her in such a way that her success was hinged on not making liars out of them. She tries to be that person for everyone around her.

Kianna lives in Georgia. She speaks on leadership, accountability, and the intersection of career and family.
