Kerry Dashnaw was an educator for over thirty-six years with twenty-nine of those years at Newhall Elementary School in Newhall, CA, where she saw children thrive as their creativity and imaginations were nurtured and developed. Passionate about reading success for all students, she was chosen by her peers as teacher of the year twice. She believes that reinventing oneself makes our life's journey fun and powerful. Now retired, Kerry creates art, teaches art classes, and has recently published her third children's book. She lives with her husband in Texas and can be found on Instagram and Facebook.
