Kayla Cox is a Northeast Georgia native who ran off to Camp Pendleton, California, at the tender age of 19 to marry her college sweetheart turned United States Marine, J.R. A few years and three kids later, they hit the road in a Class-C RV and visited 37 states. It was on this adventure that she finally penned "The Laid Back Guide to Intermittent Fasting." After two years of full-time traveling, they landed in beautiful Central Florida, where Kayla currently resides amongst the abundant palm trees and house geckos. When Kayla's not hammering away on her next novel with a cup of coffee in hand, you'll most likely find her curled up with a good book. She is also the creator of Six Miles to Supper, a YouTube channel with over 76,000 subscribers and 10 million views, where she shares her experience of losing 80 pounds with intermittent fasting and walking six miles a day and endeavoring to keep it off for the rest of her life.
