If you talk to Kathy about writing a book, she comes alive with excitement. She loves helping authors discover their talent and fulfill their dream. Many have a calling on their life that she believes comes to life through their book. Becoming an author, coach and publisher was not a path she expected to take in life. But through different events she was lead down this path and found her love of teaching. Meeting authors from across the globe and from all walks of life has been so fun, humbling and a huge blessing. Kathy also has a passion to help women who have experienced trauma. Her first book, Broken Spirit to Boundless Joy shares her own story of traumatic times in her life and how she overcame that. Her faith is where she gains her strength and hope and wants to share that with others. In her downtime, Kathy loves to travel to new places, go for walks, camp, bike, sew, scrapbook and do crafts. She loves to be outdoors during the summer, but could do without all the bugs! Her travels have taken her many places, but her favorite trip was a motorcycle trip through 14 of the west and central United States and into Mexico. Her trip to Alaska ranks at the top as well, with all its breathtaking beauty. Kathy says she feels a sense of peace and closeness to God when she is surrounded by nature. Her greatest joys are knowing Jesus Christ and being married to the love of her life, Duane. They love to make each other laugh. Laughter is medicine to the soul!
