Kathleen M. Rodgers is the Women Writing the West 2026 WILLA Literary Award Winner in Contemporary Fiction for her fifth novel, The Llano County Mermaid Club, published by University of New Mexico Press. Her book received high praise from the Albuquerque Journal and New Mexico Magazine. A former contributor to national magazines and regional newspapers, Kathleen grew up in Clovis, New Mexico, and currently resides in north Texas. She is represented by Tracy Crow Literary Agency and is available to speak at book clubs and other events.
