Karen DeWitt is a member of a Bunco Club that has been together for more than twenty years. A professional artist since graduating from Southern Illinois University where she earned an MFA in studio art, Karen's career became challenged several years ago when Multiple Sclerosis claimed the fine motor skills of her right hand. Struggling to stay creative she trained her left-hand to produce artwork, while at the same time beginning work on The Bunco Club. "I've always loved to write so when one door closed on me, I jumped at the chance to open a new one." DeWitt lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband, Bob, and they have one adult son.
