Justin Luyt grew up in the suburbs outside of Johannesburg, South Africa. At the ripe age of 24 he immigrated to the United States where he has lived since. He has been located in Dallas, Texas since 2000 where he has been engaged in training and consulting for large corporations like: Microsoft, Sun Microsystems (Oracle), Electronic Data Systems (HP) and Fujitsu, only to mention a few. In 2010 he published "The Spirit of Romance: How to Develop the Skill for Romantic Relationships", which takes a spiritual view to dating and romantic relationships. This was his debut to authorship to help others in need. He developed a keen interest in understanding how people with faith are able to navigate the turbulent waters of divorce.
