Retail management success has a blueprint… I created it. I found out early that retail success takes grit during a summer internship at a small department store. What was supposed to be a temporary job turned into a permanent shift in direction. I was enticed by the pressure, the pace, the people. And most of all, the challenge of leading in environments that never slow down. That early insight shaped my entire career. I came up through the ranks at companies like Macy’s, Gap, Travelex, and Bank of America, eventually leading billion-dollar operations across multiple industries. Along the way, I discovered that great retail isn’t built on ideas—it’s built on execution. And execution needs structure. That’s why I created AIM: Action Item Management - a system that gives managers the tools to create clarity, follow-through, and performance on a daily basis. AIM has been field-tested in big box, specialty, financial services, airport retail, self-storage, and beyond. It works—because it's built for the realities of frontline leadership. My mission today is to help organizations build what I call Radically Reliable Retail—where structure becomes culture, and results become inevitable.
