John Ward is a paranormal investigator and author of the new Scareville Books series. He has lived in Ohio his whole life and still lives in Northeast Ohio with his dog, Bo. He has been a fan of horror for the longest time and wanted to make his way in the industry, and have an impact of his own. John gained inspiration in the late summer of 2022 while walking around a local park, racking his brain on what he could do to get into the horror industry as a potential career. The park has a library on the grounds. John began to think back to how much he had enjoyed writing at a young age. It was then that he had his light bulb moment. That was it! He was going to write horror books! But what kind? He began to feverishly brainstorm where he felt his sweet spot would be, and he landed on a brand new middle grade horror series. He wanted to create his own series of books similar to a popular series in the 90's, but with his own fun, creative, and horrifying spin! John's brain began immediately flooding with cool, unique, and exciting story ideas and he got to work right away. He brainstormed for hours and hours to come up with this new series, the Scareville Books. What makes John's stories different? He doesnt just love horror...he LIVES horror!
