I am a great reader, AND have pleasure in many things. After more than 20 years as an editor and proofreader, in 2019 I found my niche in Jane Austen Fan Fiction, and I have since edited around 150 books in the genre. My lifelong fascination with history, especially the social history of everyday lives, has only grown as I’ve learnt more about the Regency period, its customs, and its etiquette. Spending so much time in Austen’s world made it almost inevitable that I would begin creating stories of my own. What I love most about Jane Austen is her deliciously dry sense of humour, and I hope a little of that spirit has found its way into my writing. I live in the south of England with my family, and despite my main hobby being reading books of every genre, I also have great pleasure in walking, crafting, and sea swimming.
