Jim Larsen is an astute people watcher. He doesn’t just
watch people, he studies them. He gets inside their heads
and sees the world through their eyes. He likes to know
why people do the things they do, why what’s important
to them is so important, and what motivates, excites, and disgusts them.
This knack for people watching has benefited Jim as a
writer in many ways. It has allowed him to go deep into
character motivations and actions while writing this
volume of Spoony Chronicles and more. It has also helped
shaped his philosophies which he shares in his books,
The Pieces of You Tarot, What’s Tarot Got To Do With It?
and The Double Oh Fool Guide to Tarot Mastery.
Jim was born in California, raised in Virginia, and currently
lives on the Big Island of Hawaii. He has traveled
extensively overseas to teach English as a Foreign
Language, has been a Middle School ELA and Special
Education teacher, has worked in television broadcasting
and Government Information Management.
Jim has performed at numerous comedy open mics, poetry
open mics, has performed with an Improv comedy troupe
in the Washington DC area, and is the creator of numerous
videos on YouTube. Jim is probably best known as the
writer and director of the cult classic film for Troma
Entertainment, Buttcrack and as the creator of
Nigel the Psychopath.
