Jessie Joi is an elemental sea witch, novelist, and avid environmental advocate. She splits her time between communing with the spirits of nature, collecting trash from the beach with a pair of alligator claws, and writing down the dreams that become her fantasy novels. She is well- versed in mermaid and water-spirit folklore and often finds inspiration in their stories for her books and daily spiritual habits. Jessie received her BFA from Stony Brook University, and is the author of The Turning Tides Series, a fantasy romance duology about merfolk in the modern world. She has presented at the Water Priestess Online Confluence, Bewitching the Waters Online Symposium, and is a social media creator under the alias "Fablepagan" across most social platforms. For her writing life, she sticks to the username Jessiejoiwrites, where you can currently find her on Instagram and Tik Tok promoting her upcoming releases. To learn more about Jessie Joi and the dreams she is making reality, her newsletter is available at her website, Jessiejoi .com
