Jerry Zehr is an author, speaker, and interfaith leader who has spent more than four decades helping people navigate fear, division, and the search for deeper meaning. His work centers on one core question: what does it look like to choose courage and compassion in a divided world? He is the author of The Sacred Rebel: Fierce Love in a Fearful World, a book that weaves together real stories and practical wisdom to help readers live with greater authenticity, resilience, and love. Jerry has helped create several interfaith organizations, including the Carmel Interfaith Alliance and the Indiana Multifaith Network, and continues to lead workshops, retreats, and conversations on inner peace, forgiveness, and understanding across differences. Before entering ministry, Jerry was an Equity actor performing in more than 50 productions. His novel Blurring the Lines draws from his experiences in the entertainment industry and explores the question: What are you willing to trade away for success? He holds degrees from Ball State University and Christian Theological Seminary. Jerry and his wife Diane have been married for more than four decades and are the proud parents of two daughters and grandparents to two grandchildren.
