Jane Lightbourne is the author of LOSS for adults, a dark love story, and HANNAH, described by the International Review of Books as 'gripping and emotionally resonant.' Jane's second poetry collection, LIGHT BENEATH THE LIDS, is out now, following the release of her first collection, BRIGHT DUST. Other titles include chapter books for children aged 7 to 11, A TALE OF THREE TABBIES, a survival story based on a true story, and MY CAT CALLED RED, about a cat with a magic purr. As well as writing fiction, Jane studied Classics at Oxford University and worked as a lawyer after that. She lives in London with her three children and two Greek rescue cats. Nevada Street Press was a finalist in the Best of Royal Greenwich Business Awards 2023 and has been awarded Best Emerging Independent Publisher 2024 by the UK Enterprise Awards and Emerging Independent Publisher of the Year 2025 – UK by the Business Excellence Awards.
