James A. "Jim" Harnish is husband to Martha Hayes, father to Carrie Lynn Ferenac (Andy) and Deborah Jeanne LaRoche (Dan), and grandfather to Julia, Alex and Luke Ferenac, and Mattie and Molly LaRoche. A native of Western Pennsylvania, he married a native Floridian more than 50 years ago and all the rest is history! He writes from the perspective of a persistently growing faith and out of his relationships with people in the congregations he served as a pastor in the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church for more than 40 years. He is a graduate of Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary with honorary degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary and Bethune-Cookman University.
