JR Hopkins - is a displaced Okie with a bit of Choctaw blood who now calls Idaho home. Raised by a nomadic father, she caught the travel bug early, and the many places she’s lived—including Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma, and Iceland—often become vivid settings in her stories.
Writing under J. R. Hopkins, she pens mystery, psychological thrillers, romantic suspense, and nonfiction. She also plans to publish children’s books under the name Jacy Hopkins.
JR began writing at a young age and continued while serving in the U.S. Navy. When she’s not writing, she enjoys photography, travel, and time with her granddaughter—while trying to get all the stories in her head onto the page.
