Jim Kelly is an award-winning crime writer, now writing hiostorical thrillers under the name J.G.Kelly. He won a Dagger in the Library - one of the 'Oscars' of the genre - for his first series of novels set in the English Fens. He won the New Angle Prize for Literature for his second series - set on the north Norfolk coast. Jim was education correspondent of the Financial Times before taking up wiriting full-time. His father was a Scotland Yard detective. He lives in Ely Cambdridgeshire and is married to the writer Midge Gillies.
