The author was born in Albany, Georgia and is a graduate of the “College by the Sea.” While attending what is now Savannah State University, he led the baritone section of the Concert choir while serving as pianist for the Cherubim’s choir at Saint Mathew’s Episcopal Church. He bore the “Lamp of Diplomacy of the Seaside Dogwood Chapter” and was presented in successful Piano recital at Savannah’s Second Ebenezer Baptist Church in fulfillment of the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. He then served in the United States Army 25th Chemical Defense core in Bad Kreuznach, West Germany where also serving as Base Chapel pianist before being deployed to an Aviation Division in Monterey, California during Operation Desert Storm. The author’s post-military career spans over twenty years mostly working in Corporate Financial marketing within the telecom industry while living in Atlanta, GA before working as a Defense contractor in Southwest Georgia where he was finally able to complete the writing of his first novel “Big Auntie’s Pearls.”
