Holly Henderson is a mother of 3 children who has been interested in parenting strategies and techniques since she welcomed her first child. She found it difficult to enforce discipline with her first child because she was so worried about creating conflict but found that this lack of boundaries actually made things more difficult. When she had her second child she reevaluated the approaches she had been using, which is when she began to learn about alternatives to traditional discipline. After finding success with these new approaches with both children, she became even more interested in studying all she could about parenting and child psychology. Holly and her husband were raised with very different family dynamics to each other and initially had differing views on parenting; they didn’t put too much thought into discipline when their first son was born. Learning through mistakes they soon realized the importance of creating a united front and the importance of being on the same page as each other when it came to house rules & disciplines. For their own relationship & the relationship as a family; they started to create their foundations that were true to their beliefs and desires for their future together as a family.
