Helen was born in North Wales and she currently lives in Shropshire with her husband, Simon, and her Zuchon dog, Archie. She has always loved writing stories, ever since she wrote a short story collection in the style of Enid Blyton when she was twelve. After working for many years in the public sector, Helen took the plunge to become a full-time writer, writing anything which takes her fancy, including novelettes (using the pseudonym Helen Libby), non-fiction books about her dog, Archie, and children’s stories. Helen can more often than not be found daydreaming, or with her head stuck in a book. She loves the Scottish Highlands, crisps, pizza, taking photographs, and anything sparkly.
