Harvey James has spent fifteen years sitting across from business owners who are technically excellent and quietly struggling with the people part of leadership. He has coached founders, senior executives, and family business leaders across Australia, from small businesses to listed companies, helping them understand themselves and their teams well enough to lead differently. His work is grounded in the belief that most people problems in business are not people problems at all. They are leadership problems, and almost every leadership problem becomes solvable once the person at the top develops the self-awareness to see their own contribution to it. That conviction is what drives his coaching practice and what this book is built on. Harvey is accredited in DISC, Workplace Motivators, and Emotional Intelligence profiling, and holds over fifteen years of experience working at the intersection of human behaviour and business performance.
