Gerry(Ged)Gleeson was born in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. He graduated as an Accountant but quickly became AWARE that he was not suited to working in an office environment for the rest of his working life! He quit that environment and moved thousands of kilometers away to work firstly in Hotel Management, before then moving on and working in the more lucrative mining industry for three years. It was during this period working in a very isolated part of Australia that Gerry began to read and study the benefits of self-development, personal freedom, spirituality, Buddhism, and much, much more, including the necessity for each of us to find personal mentors, coaches, etc. Gerry's favorite among many was Dr. Wayne Dyer. In more recent times working with his wife Liz in their own accommodation business in Byron Bay, Australia, Gerry learned more about life over these next 13 years by observing human inter-reactions as people from all over the World came through this business. He learned the following critical point: during one's lifetime, most people dedicate much time and money to nurturing their Body and their Mind, but little if any time or money to nurturing their Spirit (Remember: Body, Mind, Spirit). Hence Gerry felt the need to write this book!
