Gary Paul Bryant is the author of Tomorrow – A Practical Guide to Time Travel, The Stringship Chronicles, Reworld, and The First Ride: The Real Story of Santa Claus, among other works. His lifelong curiosity began in childhood, when he tinkered with makeshift rocket ships built from discarded washing machines. In the 1980s, he contributed to early computing by developing the dual joystick port for Commodore and creating TalkTools, an audio-synthesis office suite for the Amiga platform. His career has woven through technology, publishing, and creative ventures—including founding Time Pilot, a pre-Web interactive gaming magazine. Today, he continues to explore ideas through science fiction, children’s stories, and writing that blends wonder with imagination. Alongside writing, Gary has pursued music as a composer, songwriter, and performer. His work spans genres from world fusion to jazz and rock, and it has found its way into multimedia projects for video, radio, podcasts, and television. He has released more than twenty albums, including WildLife, Big World, and Imaginary Piano. Since the mid-1990s, his music has quietly reached listeners worldwide and like his books, are available here on Amazon. Over the years, Gary’s songs have been recognized with honors from ASCAP, the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, and the International Songwriting Contest. While grateful for those acknowledgments, he values most the simple act of creating and sharing music and stories. He is a member of ASCAP and a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
