Gabriela Oviedo is an abstract artist, salsa dancer, nature lover, special education teacher, and a committed mother and daughter. She’s passionate about transformation, healing, and connecting with herself, nature, and others. She honors, respects, and appreciates nature and everything that comes with it. She sees self-love and self-appreciation as an innate force that allows her to place limits and boundaries in relationships, putting an end to any form of abuse, no matter how subtle it may seem. She believes in overcoming fears that may stop her from living a fulfilled and authentic life. What lits her up is experiencing joyful moments spent with her son and seeing the happiness in him. This is also her very first published article and author of “My Colorful Life”. Gabriela lives in Dania Beach, Florida, with her son. She provides early intervention sessions by coaching parents of children with developmental delays. She is part of various communities that include yoga, art, Landmark Education, The Creatrix, and salsa. She can be often found at home painting or making mosaics, out dancing salsa at a social, or at the beach playing with the waves, walking, jogging, paddleboarding, picking up trash, or simply admiring the ocean.
