Erik Bork is an Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning writer-producer whose credits include HBO’s Band of Brothers and From the Earth to the Moon. He has written for film, television, and major studios including HBO, NBC, Fox, Universal, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, and ABC.

He has taught screenwriting at UCLA Extension and National University’s MFA program in Professional Screenwriting, and works with writers on story development and screenwriting craft.

His book The Idea has helped thousands of writers evaluate and strengthen their story concepts before investing months or years in execution.

He is also the creator of The Idea Course, a comprehensive training program that expands on the principles introduced in The Idea and helps writers apply them to their own projects.
