Erik Berggren was raised at the base of a mountain in northern Sweden — a world built on cold, endurance, and the quiet pride of people who do hard things without making a fuss about it. At nineteen, he was drafted into the Swedish Navy and deployed to the Baltic Sea hunting foreign submarines. He went on to earn a Master's in Advanced Finance from Uppsala University, graduating top of his class, then spent the next three decades across more than thirty companies in Europe and the U.S. — as Chairman, CEO, CFO, COO, and every executive role between, launching startups, scaling businesses, and guiding M&A on both sides of the table. He competed in mountain biking at World Cup level before shifting his focus to health and longevity. Then, at forty, a phone call changed everything: his brother's stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis. Erik stopped racing toward trophies and started racing toward a life — the goal became simple: LIVE to a hundred, not just survive to it. Today he's CEO of Valhalla Capital Partners, splitting time between Florida and a retreat in southwest Colorado, where the Dolores River runs cold a few steps from his sauna. Sauna Like a Viking is the system he actually lives.
