Eric Ebert Smith is a Christian Futurist, amateur astronomer, space and science enthusiast, and, much like Argo, a lover of old science-fiction movies. Eric Smith spent over three decades in California law enforcement as a police officer, detective sergeant, lieutenant, and, finally, as chief of police, retiring in 2021 as the commander of a state police academy. Concurrently, Chief Smith served for over 32 years in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve as a Maritime Law Enforcement Specialist. Chief Smith was recalled to active duty several times, including during Operation Desert Shield/Storm on September 11, 2001, and finally during the Deepwater Horizon disaster. During 9/11, Chief Warrant Officer Smith and his Sea Marshal Teams conducted over 6000 boardings on high-risk foreign vessels entering U.S. ports over four years. Eric Ebert Smith is now retired and living with his wife and two Moon Pandas in the United Free State of Idaho. Argo, Book 2, Robot Messiha, is coming soon!
