Elody Ord is a mother of two with a vivid imagination and love of all visual arts. As a child, Elody found great joy in creating. She was often found drawing, painting and engaging in any other creative outlet that allowed her imagination to come to life. Elody never out grew her propensity to dream and invent ideas from her imagination. She earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a minor in photography when “Dark Rooms” were still in existence. She put her passion and training into a career in visual arts and communications, working in the fields of graphic and digital design, digital media, communications, photography and creative writing. Elody draws inspiration from her often humorous everyday life. She also is greatly inspired by her two adorable children and her late dog whom she loved dearly. Her children’s books are fashioned from her ability to use creative narratives and illustrations to provide young readers lessons in an easy to understand, yet entertaining format.
