Elizabeth Povarova-Simpson is a Russian-American author who has been passionate about storytelling since childhood. Born in Moscow and raised in California, she grew up filling countless notebooks with poems and stories that reflected her love of imagination and language. She graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University’s Madrid campus and built a career in marketing, crafting narratives of a different kind. But her heart has always belonged to the characters who whisper their stories to her, demanding to be written. Elizabeth’s writing reflects her own journey—through resilience, identity, and finding beauty in the hard places, exploring the dichotomy of the human experience. These days, she’s embracing a new chapter of her own life, savoring the small joys that keep her grounded: a good cup of coffee, long walks, quiet moments of reflection, and the company of her mischievous (and slightly murderous) cat, Hana. She hopes to return to her writing soon.
