Thank you for taking a look at my author page. I’m Lizzie, a writer and journalist, whose most recent and forthcoming novels are published as Elizabeth Enfield. I write contemporary novels which focus on ordinary people and the moments which change and render their lives extraordinary. 'Her pace and style are reminiscent of Anne Tyler' is the book review that has brought the biggest smile to my face as she is one of my favourite writers. I want readers to recognise something of themselves in my worlds, to enjoy the company of my characters, to root for them in the midst of a crisis and to leave them still thinking about the issues their particular circumstances have raised. I want reading one of my books to be the literary equivalent of a cup of tea and a heart-to-heart with a friend – or a glass of wine and a heated discussion.
