While for her fictional tales she goes by her pen name, Eliza Nevius, you may know her by her real name, Erin Egnatz. When she isn’t chasing ghosts, wrangling college students, or decoding ancient ruins, she’s spinning tales that blend romance, fiction, and sometimes a touch of the paranormal. A published author, seasoned ghost hunter, and professor of history, archaeology, and English, she is also the creator of Hauntings Around America—a platform dedicated to all things eerie and unexplained and also the host of PLOT TWIST RADIO. Armed with a BA from Central State University and an MEd from the American College of Education, she has been featured in Newsweek, Fox Chicago, WAVE TV, Fox Cincinnati, NBC Seattle, and beyond. She lives somewhere between chaos and caffeine with her husband, three kids, two dogs, four cats, and one incredibly judgmental bearded dragon.
