Dr. Tuesday Williams Mahoney Dr. Tuesday Mahoney is a noted educator, author, and speaker. She serves as the Assistant Vice Chancellor for College Access and formally Director of Career Services for her local University.. She is a student-center educator committed to the higher education and community service. Enlighten by her service to the Shreveport community, she herself began her college journey in Shreveport at Southern University at Shreveport. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1995 from Clark Atlanta University and Master of Science in Administration in 2006 from Central Michigan University and a Doctorate of Education at Nova Southeastern University, Florida. Her memberships consist of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc., the National Association of University Women- Shreveport Branch, Southern Association of Colleges and Employers, National Association of Colleges and Employers. Dr. Mahoney is a noted Grant writer, who achieve multiple state funded grant awards that generated $85,000 in funding for Male Mentorship programs, Career Development for minority’s students, City Internship Opportunities for disadvantage students, and Retention Programs for International students, thus impacting thousands of students in secondary and higher education. Dr. Mahoney is an accomplished published author with works in the Journal of the NAUW Fall, 2009, entitled “I Told the Storm: A journey of her mother’s transplant survival” and recent release “Follow Me to Purpose”. Her most noteworthy accomplishment is the completion of her first book release providing a guide to reaching your purpose and inspirational goal-setting; which is due for release April 2016. She is the CEO along with husband (Derrick Mahoney, Professional Realtor) of Mahoney Elite LLC., which provides educational consulting for her professional motivational speaking, resume-college writing service, and his free homeowner education consulting services to the community as they aim to impact families, youth, women, men, and college students in various venues. Dr. Mahoney’s is a dedicated wife and mother of two children a College Student and High school Teen. Her personal goal is to always utilize her Godly giving gifts to continue to serve in opportunities to encourage, uplift, and assist others in reaching their highest potential in education, career, and life.
