About the Author Dr. Michael Moses is not only the author of this innovative, unconventional and disruptive book, “Breaking Free from Bipolar 2 Disorder,” but he was also the patient and the doctor. He is a retired chiropractor who specialized in the treatment of high school, college and professional athletes. After being diagnosed with Bipolar 2 Disorder, he was referred to several specialists and prescribed many different psychiatric medications which all failed. Out of desperation, he turned to neuroscience research in the hope of finding the answers. With much trial-and-error, he finally discovered the underlying factors causing his bipolar 2 disorder, allowing him to restore his mental health naturally. Today he is happily married, loves to golf, travel, dance, sing and play music and enjoys watching his 15 grandchildren participate in their various activities. He promised in prayers to pay forward the wisdom gained on his journey to mental recovery to help those enduring the agony and pain of this devastating condition. This continual suffering of other bipolar disorder patients still weighs heavily on his heart and soul.
