Debbie Stieg Blankenship was born and raised in Oshkosh Wisconsin, and is now residing in Southern Illinois with her husband. She has the great pleasure of living across the street from three of her grandchildren, and only 35 minutes from the other two.
Her first book, Gone…, came to her after doing a study of Revelation, wondering what the world would look like in the Midwest after it occurred. The Gone series is now a trilogy that will keep you reading to the end.
Her Magic Stones series for kids starting chapter books will keep them reading also! Three books in this series so far, with plans to write another in the future. These books have magic stones, special powers, mystical creatures, and best of all, her 5 grandchildren as the main characters!
Also added to her library are three fully illustrated children's books. Two of them are about her grand dogs. She is working on a book about her grand kitty. The third in these books, Gerry the Giraffe wonders, "Who am I?", is a delightful book that looks at who we are meant to be.
