Dave Black publishes the website Dave Black Online, where you can find his daily musings on his blog. Born and raised in Hawaii, he eventually received his Doctor of Theology degree from the University of Basel in Switzerland. He has been teaching New Testament and Greek at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC since 1998. He’s had the privilege of lecturing all over the world, and has written numerous scholarly articles and books. He was married to his wife Becky Lynn for 37 years until she went home to be with the Lord in 2013. He lives on a 123-acre working farm in southern Virginia and is a missionary to Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. When he isn’t writing books or teaching abroad you can find him surfing in Hawaii, climbing in the Alps, or participating (usually at the back of the pack) in marathons.
