Danielle Carriere is a native Montanan who grew up on a working cattle ranch. Although she did a stint in the Midwest for a few years while she was working on her graduate degree, she is currently back in the Big Sky state with her two kiddos, who keep her endlessly busy. As a reader, Danielle's favorite books are the ones the rip her heart out, stomp on it, absolutely destroy it... and the put it back together again. As an author, she writes emotionally intense stories without explicit content. Danielle writes historical romance set in the American West/Frontier, contemporary romance, and YA speculative fiction with strong romantic themes. Danielle has a PhD in economics, loves most things outdoors, and sometimes she dreams in animation.
