Craig Higginson is an internationally acclaimed playwright and novelist who lives in South Africa. His plays have been performed and produced in many theatres and festivals around the world, including the National Theatre in London, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Traverse Theatre and the Trafalgar Studios in London’s West End. His novels include Last Summer, The Landscape Painter, The Dream House, The White Room, The Book of Gifts and The Ghost of Sam Webster. Craig has won several awards, including the Sony Gold Award for the Best Radio Drama in the UK, an Edinburgh Fringe First, the UJ Award for South African Literature in English (twice), the Naledi Award for Best South African play and the HSS Award for Best Fiction. His novels and plays have been translated into French, Turkish and Arabic and by Picador Africa, St Martin's Press, Catalyst Press, Mercure de France, Oberon Books, Methuen (Bloomsbury) and others.
