Courtney was born on the tiny island of Saipan to two adventurous parents. At a young age, her family moved to the states where she was raised on an ostrich ranch. She spent her days riding horses, running barefoot up rocky mountains, milking goats, and raising giant, exotic birds. After majoring in theatre during high school, she moved to LA to pursue costume design at one of the top design schools in the country. Courtney used her degree to start a costume design business where, over the course of 13 years, she made over 2,000 costumes for people and productions all over the world. That journey came to an end in 2022. Through all of her passions and journeys, one thing stayed consistent. Her love of reading and writing. It wasn't until her fiance got her addicted to romance novels that she finally decided to try getting published. She briefly pursued the traditional rout of getting published, but ultimately decided self-publishing was more to her liking and published her first novel in 2019. Since then, she hasn't looked back and has since published over 20 novels in the dark romantasy and scifi genres. You can follow Courtney to know when she releases a new book!
