He is also the author of The Northern Maine Massacres series, a chilling psychological thriller set in the remote North Maine Woods. Known for his raw honesty and immersive storytelling, Waters blends lived experience with gripping suspense, creating work that resonates with readers on both emotional and visceral levels. Now living in Northern Maine, Christopher finds peace in the wilderness and strength in the bonds of family and friendship. When he’s not working or writing, he enjoys barbecue, storytelling around a fire, singing karaoke, and time spent outdoors; whether camping, fishing, or simply soaking in the silence of the woods. His journey is one of defiance, healing, and triumph, and through his writing he hopes to give voice to others who have been told to stay silent.
