Christopher Waters is a U.S. Army combat veteran, survivor, and author whose powerful story of resilience and courage is captured in The Night I Didn’t Flinch. After enduring a childhood marked by hardship, Christopher transformed his pain into purpose; first through military service, and now through his work as an Environmental, Health, and Safety Coordinator. He is also the author of The Northern Maine Massacres series, a chilling psychological thriller set in the remote North Maine Woods, as well as Safety: The Fight Against Complacency, a candid and experience‑driven exploration of safety culture, human behavior, and the real‑world consequences of letting one’s guard down. Known for his raw honesty and immersive storytelling, Waters blends lived experience with gripping suspense and hard‑earned wisdom, creating work that resonates with readers on both emotional and visceral levels. Now living in Northern Maine, Christopher finds peace in the wilderness and strength in the bonds of family and friendship. When he’s not working or writing, he enjoys barbecue, telling stories around a fire, singing karaoke, and spending time outdoors; whether camping, fishing, or simply soaking in the silence of the woods. His journey is one of defiance, healing, and triumph, and through his writing he strives to give voice to others who have been told to stay silent.
