Christopher M. Piehota is a former senior FBI executive who served at the highest levels of federal law enforcement and national security. Over the course of his career, he held major leadership roles involving operations, strategy, crisis response, technology, and organizational management inside one of the world’s most recognized institutions. He is the author of Wanted: The FBI I Once Knew, a book that began as an insider account of the FBI but now stands as a broader leadership case study on the effects of organizational factors such as culture erosion, accountability failure, mission drift, and institutional decline.
