Christopher James grew up in Northeast Ohio and has spent thirty years in financial services. The Knowing is his debut novel.

The four men at the center of the series — Chris, Tom, Joe, and Jack — are drawn from the closest friendship of his life. The Polaroid on the back cover was taken in 1988. All four of them are still in each other's lives.

He lives in Northeast Ohio. The Knowing: Oklahoma City is in progress.
