Hi, I am Chrisa Assis, movement professional, teaching and exploring movement through dance and specifically Tango for Bautanz—Constructing Dance (https://bautanz.com/blog-argentine-tango/) and through fitness for the City of Toronto.   My classes and workshops have helped a great amount of people understand their bodies, achieve their physical goals, tune into the creative little monster they hide deep inside and shift their mental framework in order to build an artistic shelter, a safe place, where they can find and nurture their spirit. I have learned from great Tango professionals and I am passionate about learning so I take every opportunity I can to enhance my knowledge and understanding on Tango, dance, movement and the human body. In tandem with Tango I am therefore studying Body Mind Centering and Axis Syllabus both of which offer me the tools to joyful movement and exciting dances. Tools I love sharing with my students.
