Chris Zang is from New York, where he worked as a bartender, lifeguard and substitute teacher in special education while studying for a Bachelor's degree in Finance and a Master's degree in Elementary and Special Education.

He later moved to Mexico where he learned Spanish, founded and ran an English school, trained teachers and began coaching people one on one.

The Manual is his first book — a journey through the science of how we work, told through real people and real experiences that make it easy to understand and impossible to forget.
