Chris Stockton has been in emergency services since 2016 — starting on the streets as an EMT and working his way up to paramedic and offshore medic. In that time, he’s seen the best and worst of human moments, from chaotic accident scenes to quiet, life-changing calls. He writes with the same raw honesty he brings to the job — no sugar-coating, no “hero” polish, just the truth about what it’s like to live in a world where skill meets chaos. When he’s not working in remote medicine or training new medics, Chris is building realistic EMS training tools and recording episodes of his unfiltered podcast, Dispatched & Dysfunctional. He lives in Alabama with his wife, Jordan, and their three kids, balancing family life with the unpredictable call of the job. When the Sirens Are Silent is his first book, written for every medic, firefighter, dispatcher, cop, nurse — and anyone who’s ever wondered why we come home quiet.
