Charles Skinner has been CEO of 3 quoted companies over the last thirty years, including returning to one to revive its fortunes. He has turned small companies into national champions, with one being AIM Company of the Year. He has acquired over 100 companies in his career, typically in unsung industries such as tool hire, laundries, document storage, scanning, shredding and office relocation. He has chaired and invested in multiple private companies. Before running and buying companies, Charles worked in investment banking and private equity before becoming Editor of Management Today. He has an MA in Classics from Oriel College, University of Oxford, where he is an Honorary Fellow. He lives in London and Norfolk.
